Role Overview
As an Operations Officer at DigGeoNaija, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of the company. This includes managing workflows, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring the company runs smoothly. You will work closely with senior management to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the company, ensuring smooth operational flow.
Manage and improve operational processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate and communicate with different teams to ensure operational alignment.
Maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
Handle budgeting, resource allocation, and logistical needs to support ongoing projects.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Assist in managing human resources, including staff onboarding, performance monitoring, and training.
Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively.
Provide reports and insights to senior management to help guide decision-making.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations or administration, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in operational software, project management tools, and MS Office suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of the geospatial or technology sectors would be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
